General Guidance

Become a Brother

Joining Eta Omega Chi requires persistence, commitment, and collaboration. The process begins with two interviews: a professional interview focused on your resume and experiences, followed by a social interview to understand your character and values. Applicants who pass move on to pledge quarter, where they are considered pledgees rather than brothers.

Pledge quarter includes weekly business-focused workshops, a coffee chat system to meet every brother, and activities from bonding events to community service. Evaluations take place throughout, and at the end of the quarter, active brothers vote on who will be initiated as full brothers of Eta Omega Chi.

Pledge Education

Pledge is a quarter-long process where you’ll receive weekly 2-hour professional training from Eta Omega Chi brothers with experience at firms like BCG, Blackstone, Bank of America, and J.P. Morgan on topics such as resume building, networking, and business planning. Each session comes with individual and group assignments to reinforce learning and strengthen collaboration within your pledge class.

On weekends, you’ll take part in bonding activities with active brothers, while also completing one-on-one coffee chats with each member and being paired with a Big who serves as your mentor throughout pledge education.

What We Look For

At Eta Omega Chi, we value applicants who show genuine interest in what we do and who we are. We look for individuals with strong drive and ambition to grow, improve, and push themselves both personally and professionally.

Dedication and commitment are essential, since being part of Eta Omega Chi means showing up, contributing, and supporting one another consistently. Just as important, we look for the right vibe – people who are collaborative, open-minded, and able to connect naturally with brothers. Together, these qualities build the foundation for a strong and lasting brotherhood.
