While the exact number of accepted applicants shifts each cycle, HΩX remains highly selective to maintain a strong and committed brotherhood. Every applicant has a fair chance, and the best way to succeed is by being authentic and demonstrating the qualities that make you a good fit for our values.
-
Yes, both seniors and graduate students are welcome to apply. While some may think they’re joining “late,” their experiences actually give them an advantage – they contribute new insights and practical wisdom that strengthen HΩX for everyone.
-
Attendance is not mandatory, but we strongly encourage you to join us at both Meet the Chapter and Social Mixer, which serve as the best opportunities for us to get to know you better!
Please remember that recruitment is always a two-way journey: While this is a process where HΩX evaluates applicants, it’s also your chance to evaluate us – whether our values, culture, and opportunities align with what you’re looking for.
-
No, we are open to all majors! The diversity among our brothers is one of our greatest strengths. You’ll find students studying Biology, Computer Engineering, Art History, Philosophy, and many others.
This variety of academic backgrounds allows us to bring unique insights to discussions, projects, and events – making our community stronger and more dynamic.
-
Yes! Joining HΩX doesn’t conflict with other social fraternities or sororities. Many of our brothers are also active in Greek organizations, cultural clubs, and honor societies on campus, and we encourage this involvement.
HΩX is designed to complement – not replace – your other communities, adding another layer of brotherhood, professional growth, and long-term connections.
-
Absolutely! Some of our current brothers joined HΩX after applying more than once, and their persistence speaks to their commitment and growth.
We strongly encourage reapplicants to try again, as each cycle is a new opportunity to showcase how you’ve developed – whether through academics, leadership, or personal experiences.
-
Unlike traditional East Asian student clubs, HΩX is built on brotherhood. Our relationships go beyond weekly meetings – we host consistent bonding activities and offer unlimited mentorship, creating connections that last well past UCLA.
HΩX also offers direct access to a powerful alumni network. Our brothers can freely reach out to alumni in finance, consulting, tech, healthcare, and more – receiving guidance and career support, including internship referrals, research lab opportunities, and mock interview preparation, without barriers.
